身為一名藝術教育工作者，若要我推薦臺灣必訪的文化地標，臺北市立美術館（北美館） 絕對是首選。成立於1983年的北美館，不僅是臺灣第一座現代美術館，更是這座城市美感教育的心臟。

北美館的建築本身即是一場視覺的饗宴。由建築師高而潘設計，融合了傳統四合院的「井」字型結構與現代主義的「代謝派」風格，層疊的管狀空間象徵著藝術文化的源源不絕與有機生長。步入館內，挑高明亮的白色展間為藝術品提供了最純粹的對話場域。

在展覽策劃上，北美館兼具在地深度與國際視野。從享譽全球的「台北雙年展」到對臺灣美術史的深耕梳理，它持續挑戰著觀者的思考邊界。而對於藝術教育而言，這裡更是一個巨大的開放教室。館內的「兒童藝術教育中心」是全臺首創的館中館，透過互動與遊戲，讓藝術種子從小扎根；針對成人的工作坊與導覽，則引導大眾從當代藝術中反思社會議題與生活美學。

北美館不只是一座收藏作品的庫房，它是一個活的有機體，連接著過去與未來，藝術與大眾。在這裡，我們學習如何「看」，也學習如何感受世界。

As an art education expert, if I were to recommend a must-visit cultural landmark in Taiwan, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM) would undoubtedly be my top choice. Established in 1983, TFAM is not only Taiwan's first museum dedicated to modern art but also the beating heart of the city's aesthetic education.

The architecture of TFAM is a visual feast in itself. Designed by architect Kao Er-pan, it merges the traditional Chinese character for "well" (井) found in courtyard houses with the modernist style of Metabolism. The stacked tubular structures symbolize the endless flow and organic growth of art and culture. Stepping inside, the soaring, bright white galleries provide the purest space for dialogue between the viewer and the artwork.

In terms of curation, TFAM possesses both local depth and international vision. From the globally renowned "Taipei Biennial" to the meticulous research of Taiwanese art history, it continuously challenges the boundaries of the viewer's thinking. For art education, the museum serves as a massive open classroom. The "Children's Art Education Center" located within the museum is a pioneering initiative in Taiwan, planting the seeds of art in young minds through interaction and play. Meanwhile, workshops and tours for adults guide the public to reflect on social issues and the aesthetics of living through contemporary art.

TFAM is more than a repository for artworks; it is a living organism connecting the past with the future, and art with the public. Here, we learn not just how to "look," but how to feel the world.
